About HappyMonster

HappyMonster is a Dhaka-based WordPress company behind three separate product lines: ThemeBucket, a WordPress theme developer; HappyAddons, an Elementor widget library installed on more than 400,000 active sites; and EazyPlugins, a smaller collection of standalone WordPress plugins. Hasin Hayder, HappyMonster's Co-Founder and CTO, has worked with WordPress since 2005, giving the company roots that go back further than its own 2019 founding date.

That two-decade head start with the platform is what shapes nearly everything HappyMonster has built since, from themes to widgets to the backend systems that keep them running at scale.

Two Decades With WordPress Before HappyMonster

Hasin Hayder started working with WordPress in 2005, two years before Bangladesh had a visible WordPress community of its own. Early in his career, he wrote "WordPress 2.0 Complete," a published book on the platform at a time when WordPress documentation was far thinner than it is today.

That early, deep familiarity with WordPress's core architecture is what let him move between building companies, writing, and teaching without any one of those tracks crowding out the others.

Co-Founding ThemeBucket First

Before HappyMonster existed, Hasin Hayder co-founded ThemeBucket in 2013 alongside Dulal Khan and Mosaddek Hossain, building WordPress themes for a global customer base. It was one of several ventures he took on in parallel rather than a single defining company, reflecting a career built more around continuous building than any one flagship product.

ThemeBucket later became the first of what would grow into HappyMonster's three-brand structure, once HappyAddons and EazyPlugins joined it under the same roof.

HappyAddons Becomes the Flagship Product

HappyMonster itself was founded in 2019, built around a new widget library for the Elementor page builder called HappyAddons, which has since grown to more than 400,000 active installations. As CTO, Hasin Hayder has focused on the backend architecture and systems that let a widget library operate reliably at that scale, the less visible engineering work that keeps a product used by hundreds of thousands of sites from breaking under its own popularity.

That focus on reliability at scale, rather than simply adding more widgets, is part of what has kept HappyAddons a recognizable name in the Elementor ecosystem years after its launch, competing for attention in a space where dozens of Elementor add-on libraries have come and gone.

Expanding Into EazyPlugins

Beyond themes and widgets, HappyMonster added a third division, EazyPlugins, built around standalone WordPress plugins rather than themes or page-builder add-ons. Its best-known release, Eazy Plugin Manager, helps site owners bookmark, categorize, and bulk-install plugins, along with managing custom plugins in a security vault, the kind of everyday site-management problem HappyMonster's team encountered firsthand before building a product around it. It's a smaller, quieter division than HappyAddons or ThemeBucket, but it fills a gap neither of the other two brands was built to address.

Connected to a Wider Dhaka WordPress Ecosystem

HappyMonster shares both talent and history with weDevs, the Dhaka company behind Dokan Multivendor, and with Leevio, a design studio founded by people who came out of both weDevs and HappyMonster. That overlap reflects a small, tightly connected cluster of WordPress companies built by many of the same people rather than fully separate, competing businesses.

Outside of HappyMonster itself, Hasin Hayder has taught WordPress, PHP, and JavaScript to more than 10,000 students through his platform, LearnWithHasinHayder, and remains a regular speaker and organizer at WordPress events across Bangladesh, including WordCamp Dhaka. For a company that's stayed deliberately small, that combination of teaching, building, and organizing has kept HappyMonster's influence on Bangladesh's WordPress community larger than its headcount would suggest.

All three are built and supported by the same small team working out of Dhaka.
