About Hasin Hayder

Hasin Hayder has been working with WordPress since 2005, two years before Bangladesh even had a visible WordPress community to speak of.

Over twenty years, he's built companies, written a book on the platform, taught thousands of students, and co-founded two separate WordPress businesses, ThemeBucket and HappyMonster, the team behind HappyAddons, making him one of the longest-standing figures in Bangladesh's WordPress scene rather than a recent arrival to it.

Two Decades With WordPress

Hayder started working with WordPress in 2005, back when the platform was still primarily known as a blogging tool rather than the website-building infrastructure it's become.

That early start gave him a level of familiarity with WordPress's core architecture that most developers who joined the ecosystem later simply don't have, and it's shaped nearly everything he's built since, from plugins to publishing to teaching.

Writing the Book on WordPress

Early in his career, Hayder wrote "WordPress 2.0 Complete," a published book on the platform at a time when WordPress documentation and learning resources were far thinner than they are today.

Writing a book requires a different kind of expertise than writing code: it means being able to explain a system clearly enough for someone else to learn it from scratch, which has stayed a consistent thread through his later work as a speaker, organizer, and teacher.

Co-Founding ThemeBucket

In 2013, Hayder co-founded ThemeBucket alongside Dulal Khan and Mosaddek Hossain, building WordPress themes and tools for a global customer base.

It was one of several ventures he took on in parallel rather than a single defining company, reflecting a career built more around continuous building than any one flagship product.

HappyAddons and HappyMonster

Hayder is also co-founder and CTO of HappyMonster, the company behind HappyAddons, a widget library for the Elementor page builder that has been installed on more than 400,000 active WordPress sites. As CTO, he's focused on the backend architecture and systems that let a widget library operate reliably at that scale, the less visible engineering work that keeps a product used by hundreds of thousands of sites from breaking under its own popularity.

Alongside these companies, he's also built the Tyro Ecosystem, a Laravel-focused set of developer tools aimed at simplifying how backend applications get architected.

Teaching the Next Generation

Outside of the companies he's built, Hayder has taught WordPress, PHP, and JavaScript to more than 10,000 students through his platform, LearnWithHasinHayder, and he remains a regular speaker and organizer at WordPress events across Bangladesh, including WordCamp Dhaka.
